June 3 Discussion

Hey everyone, just a reminder that the first weekend in June is the Utah Pride celebration downtown, so parking will be a bear (no pun intended). You might want to show up a little early to find a parking spot, or just plan to park in the library underground parking. They usually close off some of the streets... see you there! Oh, and I've reserved the room on the second floor for us through the end of the year...

Hey Greg --

Did you change your email account? I've been trying to email you but they are being bounced...

Hiya Scott -- Yeah, lost that old account when I couldn't keep earthlink at my new place. Also lost that address book... You can reach me at: 2spacecadets@inorbit.com

Still have that one...

It looks like I won't be able to make the meeting tomorrow. I really enjoyed The Ordinary. Took me a bit to get into it, but once I did I truly enjoyed it. I was left wanting more at the end of the story. I'm kind of hoping their will be a sequel to Jedda and Malin's story. I plan on picking up Kirith Kirin to read at some point.

I've started Rats and Gargoyles - I've got a chest cold so I've been doing a lot of reading over the past two days. I'm slowly getting into it. The first chapter was really confusing, but the story is starting to draw me in.

I'm looking forward to the July meeting already. I miss you guys. See you soon.

Hope you're feeling better Loria -- I'm actually down for the count today too, so won't make it... hopefully see you all in July...

Elysa and I were the only ones at the June meeting. I had read the book, but Elysa hadn't. After 30 minutes no one else had come, so we decided to go take care of some other errands.

Hope you're feeling better Greg. My cold has finally tapered off. I was reading through the list of over looked books - John Connolly’s Book of Lost Things looks interesting. Maybe a good choice for Aug.
