Yeah, such a loss. I'll have to put that book on my stack to read soon...
During my college days, I wrote several papers on Vonnegut, and read and reread pretty much everything he wrote, but it's Player Piano (his first novel, I believe) I find myself going back to because it caused me to think about things in a way I otherwise would not have... definitely worth the time.
